Hi,
I've recently upgraded to VS 2019 Community. Updated Connector and project reference to 8.0.25.0. However, when I start VS2019, I get the message from the MySQL for Visual Studio app:
"A change in the installation of Connector/NET has been identified. Do you want to execute the Configuration Update Tool now? [etc...]"
I select Yes, but then am met by an .net Unhandled Exception error. The tool then proceeded no further if I select Continue. Also, .net connector is not working - getting errors on db connections. I would post the full error, but ridiculously, this forum software gives the error: "A word you have used in your post has been banned from use. Please use a different word or contact the forum administrators." this is on straight copy and pasted .net exception text. Great bit of design, someone - how do I post the exception text!??
Overall, quite a shonky experience of mysql!
