I just installed the whole MySql package as developer installation with the MySql installer downloaded today.
After installation, there is no sign at all of any MySql connectivity anywhere. Server Explorer has no idea about MySql, adding new data connection does not offer any MySql drivers / connections.
While trying to add a new data connection in VS 2019 Preview (16.10 preview 1) at first opened a MySql dialog informing that it has to reconfigure VS, and then MySql connections are available in the server explorer as expected.
Yet, no sign of any MySql support in VS2019 16.9.3
Still in the preview I only get an "The selected object(s) use an unsupported data provider." error when adding anything from the MySql connection added in the server explorer.
Any suggestions?
